History

Our company started out in 1981 with a single Amoco C-store on the corner of Highway 83 and I-94 in Bismarck, ND.  We have always been a family owned business that believes bigger is not always better.  We have grown slowly over the years to ensure that we always offer the best customer service.  The company took its next step forward in 1989 when we built a new C-Store on the corner of Washington and Expressway in Bismarck, ND.  In 1993 we built Bismarck’s first “tunnel” carwash at this location, and that is when we became Red Carpet Carwash.  We have been honored for years to be known as Bismarck’s best carwash.

In 1999, with the expansion of Bismarck moving to the North, we built our third Bismarck location on Century Ave.  This was a state-of-the-art project that included a food court (TCBY/Gloria Jean’s Coffees/Happy Joe’s Pizza), a convenience store, and Western North Dakota’s first full-service carwash.   In 2001, we took the step of opening our first store in Fargo, ND.  This store was very special to us.  It includes a Little Caesar’s Pizza, and a beautiful tunnel carwash.  It is located on 19th Ave N. just East of the FargoDome.  

In 2013 we purchased our first store in the city of Mandan, ND.  We are very excited to be a part of Mandan, and look forward to growing with that great city.

In 2015 we have recently expanded our presence in Fargo and West Fargo with the acquisition of 2 more stores (formerly All-Stop).  We are very excited to have a bigger presence in the Fargo area, and look forward to being a great neighbor in those cities.

In 1981, Red Carpet Carwash was a single store operator with 5 employees.  We currently employ over 200 people in North Dakota, which is something we are very proud of.  We have done our best over the years to serve our communities we operate in, and look forward to serving you in the future.
